WASHINGTON – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has given President-elect Barack Obama a conditional vote of confidence on handling the war in Iraq.Palin, who has been granting a series of interviews this week, said she would feel comfortable with the Illinois Democrat as commander in chief so long as he surrounds himself with advisers who understand threats against the United States.
