An autopsy will be performed today on the body of a woman found slain in the trunk of her car. The body was found Saturday afternoon when police followed up on a tip faxed to KTLA.
The body of 22-year-old Denise Figueroa of North Hills was found in the trunk of a black Nissan Altima in the 11700 block of Hortense Street shortly before 2 p.m. The vehicle was registered to the woman, according to police.
