Police Search for 3 Escaped Inmates in Kentucky

CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. — Kentucky State Police say they are conducting a ground and air search for three inmates who escaped from a southern Indiana prison after a truck stolen a few miles from the prison was found abandoned in Kentucky.

Lt. Chad White with the Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg said Sunday evening there had not been any confirmed sightings of the inmates.

White says in addition to searching from the air, police are conducting road checks.
