Accenture Ltd.'s (ACN) fiscal second-quarter net income edged up 1.2% despite strong headwinds from a stronger dollar and economic conditions.
However, revenue fell short of expectations, and the company issued a pessimistic outlook for the rest of the fiscal year, sending shares down 7.4%, to $29.60, in after-hours trading. The shares are off nearly a third from their 52-week high six months ago.
