Dell Gives Studio 15 Notebook a Fresh Look

It's been a while since Dell had updated the Studio 15—the same laptop we gave an Editor's Choice to back in June 2008. On Tuesday, Dell refreshed it with a new look and a new set of features.

The Dell Studio 15 moves from a 15-inch CCFL display to a more energy-efficient, 15.6-inch LED version, which is also consistent with the latest industry shift in note book screens to the 16-by-9 format. This, in turn, offers new choices for screen resolutions A 1,366x768 screen, 1,600x900 version, and a high-end 1,920-by-1,080 (1080p) screen will all be options beginning on Tuesday.
