SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)--Crude oil futures traded lower Wednesday in Asia as regional share markets broadly pulled back from earlier highs, but the downside for prices appeared to be limited ahead of weekly U.S. government oil statistics.
Data late Tuesday from the American Petroleum Institute industry group showed a surprise drawdown in U.S. crude stockpiles, fanning some caution among market participants.
