Following the apparent suicide of Freddie Mac's financial chief on Wednesday, the mortgage giant's former boss David Moffett is coming back to help run the show.
Moffett quit his post in March, after running the government-controlled lender for six months. This time around he'll advise Freddie's temporary chief, John Koskinen. "I am grateful to David for offering to assist us during this challenging time," Koskinen said Friday.
