Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears' 10-month-old daughter Maddie, was injured in an accident early Sunday morning, various sources report on their Web sites.
Spears, 18, and Aldridge's sister are at his side at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, People magazine reports. Staff at the hospital would not confirm that Aldridge is undergoing treatment there.
TMZ.com reports Aldridge, 19, was charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. He was driving his Ford pickup truck on a Louisiana highway when he lost control, went off the shoulder and flipped over. Passengers weren't as seriously injured, TMZ reports.
