The Kansas City area’s air quality ranks as 22nd worst in the nation for ozone pollution, according to a report released by the American Lung Association.
The ranking, based on measurements for 2005 through 2007, is nothing to brag about. But it is an improvement from the area’s No. 20 ranking in the American Lung Association’s 2008 report, association spokeswoman Michelle Bernth said Wednesday.
