Pakistani Military Pledges ‘Zero Tolerance' Against Taliban

May 1 (Bloomberg) -- Pakistan’s military pledged it willshow “zero tolerance” to Taliban militants who have advancedacross the country’s northwest as troops pounded rebel positionswith helicopter gunships and fighter jets.

Army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and other militaryofficials gathered yesterday in the garrison town of Rawalpindifor a briefing on the campaign in Lower Dir and Buner districts.
