Google led the core search market in the U.S. in April 2009, with 64.2 percent of the searches conducted, followed by Yahoo, Microsoft, Ask Network and AOL, according to a new report by research firm ComScore. Overall, Americans conducted 14.8 billion core searches for the month, a 3-percent gain over March 2009.
