Morgan Stanley to Boost Some Salaries as Bonuses Drop

May 22 (Bloomberg) -- Morgan Stanley will increase base payfor many of the firm’s top executives this year and double thepay of Chief Financial Officer Colm Kelleher as bonus paymentscome under scrutiny from the Obama administration and lawmakers.

The higher salary policy will apply to the majority of thecompany’s executives, according to a person briefed on thedecision. Chief Executive Officer John Mack’s base salary isunchanged this year, according to a regulatory filing today.
