NAACP not happy with ACC baseball tournament's move to South Carolina

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Not everyone is excited about the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament being held at BB&T Coastal Field from 2011-13.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has condemned the ACC for awarding its future tournaments to South Carolina. It is in defiance of the civil rights group’s nine-year boycott of the state for flying the Confederate flag on Statehouse grounds.
