US House of Representatives Committee Approves Climate Change ... - Voice of AmericaA key U.S. congressional panel has approved a landmark bill aimed atcombating climate change, days after Democratic lawmakers reached acompromise on the measure.

The House Energy and CommerceCommittee approved the bill Thursday by a 33-25 vote, split largelyalong party lines, with Democrats supporting and Republicans opposing.
