The SNP is on track to win the largest share of the European election vote in Scotland for the first time.
With most of the results in, the Nationalists had 29% of the vote ahead of Labour's 20.8%. The Tories were third on 16.9% and the Lib Dems fourth, on 11.5%.
Speaking as the scale of the SNP's victory became apparent, leader Alex Salmon said the results looked "very, very exciting".
