Showtime has ordered a second season of Nurse Jackie, a new comedy starring The Sopranos' Edie Falco as a Percocet-snorting ER nurse. The show's heavily-promoted June 8 premiere attracted a record number of viewers (a cumulative 1.35 million after two airings) for a Showtime series debut. The comedy followed the fifth-season premiere of Weeds, which attracted 1.65 million after two airings - a 25 percent improvement over its fourth season finale.
