Plexus wins Coca-Cola work for new drink machine

Contract electronics products manufacturer Plexus Corp. said Wednesday that it has been awarded a contract by the Coca-Cola Co. to help produce a new fountain dispenser capable of dispensing more than 100 different types of soft drinks.

Neenah-based Plexus (NASDAQ: PLXS) will partner with Atlanta-based Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) to manufacture a proprietary fountain dispenser called Coca-Cola Freestyle. Coca-Cola will use Plexus' global supply chain, manufacturing service and expertise in engineering services to bring the product to market.
