Ready or not, here comes digital television.

Friday, the major TV stations still broadcasting in analog will at last make the move to digital - and viewers are being warned to be prepared.

Anyone with an old nondigital television set will need an antenna and converter box or will have to get cable or satellite to avoid missing his favorite shows.

The original Feb. 17 switch was delayed after funding dried up for $40 coupons the government was offering to help people buy converters.
