A woman gave birth to her first child in a moving car on a motorway after being sent home twice in a day by hospital staff who said she was not ready.
Rebecca Longley, 20, had to deliver 6lb 1oz Aaliyah herself as boyfriend Andrew Mildenhall, 21, tried to get her back to the maternity unit.
The couple had been turned away by the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester at 7am and 8pm.
Rebecca's waters broke at 10pm but she was advised by the hospital to stay at home. The couple decided to head back anyway and were on the M3 when Aaliyah arrived.
