Kansas to detainees: Keep out

Without much daylight between them on the issues, Kansas Republican Reps. Jerry Moran and Todd Tiahrt have seized on a novel theme in the state’s GOP Senate primary: They are trying to out-Gitmo each other.

It’s a unique but logical pursuit for the two competing congressmen, who are seeking the state’s open Senate seat in 2010.
