Hundreds of thousands of people have attended the state funeral of Omar Bongo Ondimba, Gabon's president and Africa's longest-serving leader.
The funeral in Liberville, Gabon's capital, on Tuesday was attended by about 100 people including more than a dozen African leaders.
Polite applause as Nicolas Sarkozy, the Frency president, arrived at the presidential palace was quickly replaced by jeers shouted by dozens of people angered by France's colonial history in the country.
