Thugs who sympathise with the BNP made Nazi salutes and hurled racist abuse in a clash with antifascist protesters yesterday.

Four men were arrested outside a Blackpool hotel where BNP leader Nick Griffin was due to speak.

The thugs targeted members of Unite Against Fascism and campaigner Dion Baugh, 40, was called a "black bitch".

Dion, from Blackpool, said: "There were people giving the Nazi salute. It was outrageous."
