Despite facing backlash and pressure to resign for his extramarital affair with his Argentinean mistress, Maria Belen Chapur, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford today offered more details their relationship, telling the Associated Press today that he saw her five times in the past year.
The governor revealed that his five visits with Chapur in the last 12 months included two romantic weekends in New York.
