Celebrate the Fourth of July at any of the following events:

Fireworks at the Greenbelt Independence Day Celebration will begin about 9 p.m. and will be preceded by a children's craft tent from 3 to 6 p.m., a performance by the Greenbelt Concert Band at 6:15 and the Community Drum Circle from 7:30 to 9. Buddy Attick Park, 555 Crescent Rd., Greenbelt. Free. 301-397-2200.

Bowie will host its Fourth of July Celebration at Allen Pond Park from 3 to 10:30 p.m. at 3300 Northview Dr. The free event will include fireworks, music and other entertainment.
