Progress on nuclear arsenals?

When they meet Monday, President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitri Medvedev are likely to report progress on a new deal to cut both countries long-range nuclear arsenals, a top White House arms control official said Sunday.

“We hope they'll be able to make an announcement tomorrow that will register some progress,” the White House coordinator on weapons of mass destruction, Gary Samore, told reporters in Moscow awaiting the arrival of Obama Monday for two days of meetings with Russian leaders.
