KT’s BarBe Q wins zoning battle

Scantily clad mannequin BarBe Q will allowed to stand as is in front of KT’s Barbecue and Deli, the Reading Zoning Board of Appeals ruled Monday.

KT owner Kenny Tessel had run into problems when he positioned the busty mannequin, outfitted in short-shorts, a bikini top and baseball cap, outside his Reading restaurant. He had appealed a decision by the city’s Design Review Board that BarBe Q be dressed in something more modest.
