At his public memorial service today in Los Angeles, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson may finally get his wish: to be treated like royalty.
From all accounts, the services will likely be of the same caliber as those held 12 years ago for a real member of royalty: Princess Diana. It's only fitting, since Jackson was obsessed with the Princess of Wales and all things royal.
"He famously wanted to be in Princess Di's good graces and the good graces of the queen (Elizabeth II)," Jackson biographer Stacy Brown told ABCNews.com. "He was obsessed with royalty and wanted to be knighted."
