'More of a circus than a funeral' outside Neverland Ranch

A steady stream of Michael Jacksonâ??s fans trickled to the gates of his estate in Santa Barbara County throughout the morning as the tribute to the fallen superstar got underway in Los Angeles.

With tractors plowing golden fields a few yards away, fans wandered outside Neverland Ranch, cameras in hand, looking over T-shirts for sale and hand-lettered signs bearing tributes. Many snapped pictures of themselves in front of the massive gates covered with balloons, drawings, heart-felt letters to the entertainer and two enormous red rose wreaths.
