DETROIT - Authorities say a 19-year-old man with a suspended license was driving the sedan in which he and four other young people died after being struck by an Amtrak passenger train near Detroit. Authorities have said the car skirted a gate at a railroad crossing.
Canton Township police spokesman Sgt. Mark Gajeski says Dan Broughton of Woodhaven was driving during Thursday's crash in Canton Township, about 20 miles west of Detroit.
