Jessica Sadler wanted to hit the beach with her boyfriend Thursday, but her mom said no.
The 14-year-old from Wayne was in trouble for not checking in as promised the night before while staying at a friend's house. Come home, Tammy Sadler told her daughter.
"I feel I'm to blame," said Sadler, as she cried outside her parents' home in Canton Township, less than a mile from the site where Jessica and four young men were killed when their vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train.
