Newquay: a rite of passage gone wrong?

This time last week, 16-year-old Paddy Higgins was on holiday with friends in Newquay, Cornwall's brashest resort, partying alongside several thousand teenagers all celebrating the end of their exams. On Monday morning, he was found dead at the bottom of 70ft cliffs on Tolcarne beach. His tragic death came just eight days after the body of Andrew Curwell, 18, was found on the nearby Great Western Beach, having also fallen from the cliffs.
