This gives new meaning to the phrase "a no-brainer.'' It sounds creepy -- and almost like something out of a horror film -- but Michael Jackson's brain was not in that casket during the service at Staples Center Tuesday.
According to Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter, the King of Pop's gray matter was removed during the autopsy process in order to conduct toxicology tests on it.
Understandably, the Jackson family will not bury the superstar without his brain -- at that yet-to-be-confirmed final resting place.
