TV shows and movies from HBO and Cinemax are being added to Comcast's On Demand Online service, which will in turn be added to Comcast and Time Warner's TV Everywhere initiative. However, the content won't be available to everyone—just to those who already subscribe to HBO and Cinemax.
HBO and Cinemax content is making its way onto the Internet, but only for people who already subscribe to HBO and Cinemax through their cable providers. The offering is part of Comcast's On Demand Online trial, initially making 750 hours of programming available to subscribers who want to catch a show online and on-demand. Everyone else, however, will be left out in the cold until they subscribe to cable.
