Reporting from Beirut -- Two flight recorders from a flaming commercial airliner that crashed Wednesday in northwestern Iran have been recovered but are badly damaged, state television reported today.

Caspian Airlines Flight 7908, headed from Tehran to Yerevan, the Armenian capital, crashed before noon in the Takestan region of Iran's Qazvin province, killing all 168 people aboard in the Islamic Republic's deadliest civil aviation disaster in two decades.
