Graff jewel heist: diamonds stolen to order

Scotland Yard made the first arrest yesterday in connection with the raid at Graff Diamonds in Mayfair, in which two men stole 43 bracelets, necklaces, rings and watches in less than two minutes.

A 50-year-old man from Ilford, east London, suspected of helping to plan the raid, was released on bail after being questioned. Officers also raided three properties in London and the South-East. Police would not discuss whether any items were recovered.
