Patrick Swayze, the "Dirty Dancing" star who died at 57 in Los Angeles this week of pancreatic cancer, has been cremated, reports Usmagazine.com.

The actor's death certificate stated that his remains were given to his wife, Lisa.

She plans to scatter Swayze's ashes at their New Mexico spread, Rancho de Dí as Alegres (Ranch of Happy Days), according to Radaronline.com.

Meanwhile, the North Carolina town where "Dirty Dancing" was filmed is planning a memorial for Swayze this weekend, reports the Associated Press.
