Labour was licking its wounds today after the country's biggest-selling newspaper withdrew its support for the party and threw its weight behind David Cameron's Conservatives.

The Sun broke the news to its readers this morning with a 90-point front page headline declaring : "Labour's Lost It".

There followed two double-paged spreads inside examining Labour failures before a "News in Brief" appearance on page 7 by the Page 3 model Keeley, who declared: "David Cameron is the man."
