NEW YORK — The Rev. Al Sharpton's ex-wife and their daughter have been arrested during a dispute over a traffic stop.
Lawyer Michael Hardy says Sharpton's former wife, Kathy Jordan, and Dominique Sharpton were arrested Friday evening in Manhattan.
Hardy says the women were arrested when a dispute erupted after police pulled over the car Dominique was driving for allegedly running a red light.
The women were taken to a nearby precinct and later released. They were given tickets for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstruction of governmental administration.
