For die-hards still closely monitoring the state of the America's Cup, it promises to be another argumentative week, with the latest appeal about to be filed and the defender and the challenger headed back to New York State Supreme Court on Wednesday.
Nearly two and a half years after the Swiss syndicate Alinghi successfully defended the trophy in July 2007 in Valencia, Spain, there is still no confirmed site for the next Cup. For now, it is still scheduled to be disputed in February between Alinghi and its estranged American rival, BMW Oracle Racing.
