Specialist firefighters have been called in to battle a massive fire that has broken out on a leaking oil rig in the Timor Sea.
The blaze broke out on Sunday as workers on the West Atlas rig were attempting to plug the leak that has been spewing oil into the sea for more than two months.
Nobody was injured in the fire and the Thai company which operates the platform, PTTEP, said all its staff had been safely evacuated from the platform situated 200km off the northwest Australian coast.
