Detroit Mayor Dave Bing has won a 4-year term, leading challenger Tom Barrow 58% to 42% with 100% of the votes counted.
"Thank you, Detroit," Bing said during his victory speech. "Thank you for the chance to finish the job that was started several months ago. Together we can now put Detroit back on the right path.
"Thank you for your confidence," he said. "I see progress and I know we are headed in the right direction."
