Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Ford Motor Co. and Nissan Motor Co.October U.S. auto sales rose after the industry rebounded fromthe drop in demand that followed the government’s so-called cashfor clunkers program.
The total at Ford including the Volvo brand increased3.1 percent from a year earlier, for the third gain in the pastfour months, according to a statement from the Dearborn,Michigan-based company. Nissan reported a 5.6 percent increase.
