Voters are trickling in to the polls throughout southeast Michigan, with voter turnout predictions varying from 20% to 25% in Detroit to much less in other voting areas.

In Detroit, volunteers arrived at polls early to generate a bit of last-minute support Proposal S, the measure that would allow Detroit Public Schools to tap into federal stimulus money to build new schools, demolish some, and renovate others.
