Months after beating by Chris Brown, Rihanna speaks up

Glamour's 2009 Woman of the Year says that she went to sleep one night as herself - and woke up the next day "as Britney Spears."

Nine months after Rihanna was beaten by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, she's at last speaking up about her ongoing healing process, in the December issue of Glamour. She says the "media chaos" that immediately followed the February attack made her feel like tabloid fodder.

"I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. It was like, 'What, there are helicopters circling my house? There are 100 people in my cul-de-sac? What do you mean, I can't go back home?' "
