White House: No H1N1 vaccine yet at Gitmo -- The White House said Tuesday that detainees at Guantanamo Bay are not yet receiving vaccinations against swine flu.
Presidential spokesman Robert Gibbs said concern that terrorism suspects at the U.S. naval base in Cuba were receiving vaccines was misplaced. He said no vaccines are at the base and none are on the way. A spokesman for the U.S. jail facility said a day earlier that guards and then detainees were scheduled for inoculations. Critics were fast to object, saying U.S. civilians were still waiting for vaccines.
