It wasn't quite a master class that Joshua Bell led Wednesday afternoon at the White House. "He mostly told us about his life," said Justin Green, a high-schooler who has been playing the violin for eight years.
Justin was one of 120 music students from eight organizations around the country (including the Neighborhood Music School in New Haven, Conn., where he studies) who were brought together at the White House, under the rubric of inclusiveness and outreach, for an afternoon of classical music. Students from Washington's Levine School of Music were also in attendance.
