Buffett's Buy Includes CEO Who Engineered Top US Railroad

Nov. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Warren Buffett didn’t just buy arailroad when he announced his purchase of Burlington NorthernSanta Fe Corp. He hired the engineer, too.

“It’s a bet not only on the company but on talent,” saidGary Bradshaw, portfolio manager at Hodges Capital ManagementInc. in Dallas, which owns 150,000 Burlington Northern shares.“I can’t imagine anything changing. That’s Buffett’s style.He’s always bet on management and let those guys run it.”
