Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- General Motors Co. plans to replaceCarl-Peter Forster as head of European operations and appointNick Reilly as interim leader after deciding to keep the Opeldivision, two people familiar with the situation said.
Reilly, who runs GM’s international operations, would leadAdam Opel GmbH’s reorganization until a new executive isappointed as permanent head of the Ruesselsheim, Germany-basedcarmaker, the people said, declining to be identified becausethe decisions haven’t been announced. GM is seeking a German forthe Opel post and has candidates under consideration, one personsaid, declining to identify the executives.
