As the sun rose, the sky over Killeen was overcast this morning, setting the mood for a community in shock over the shooting massacre at Fort Hood less than two days earlier.

For most in the Central Texas community, the weekend provides an opportunity to exhale after reeling from the anger, sadness and confusion that has overwhelmed the Central Texas community since Thursday afternoon, when Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan unloaded more than 100 rounds, killing 13 and wounding 30 others who were hospitalized.
