Kessel gets first goal as Leafs rout Red Wings

In Jonas Gustavsson, the Toronto Maple Leafs finally have a goaltender whom they trust will stop the puck. In Phil Kessel, they finally have a legitimate top-six forward who is capable of scoring. On Friday, the Leafs came from behind to defeat the last-place Carolina Hurricanes. Less than 24 hours later, they beat the Detroit Red Wings 6-1 for their first two-game winning streak of the season.
